Oral Hygiene

How often should I get my teeth cleaned?

Here at Chapel Road Dental Surgery Bankstown, we recommend to have your teeth cleaned at least twice per year. If you have a history of gum disease, cleaning your teeth frequently will prevent re-occurence.

Our highly qualified hygienists will use a variety of tools to help deep clean your gums and the surface of your teeth. Dental cleanings involve removing plaque deposits that have built up on the teeth over a period of time.

The purpose of the cleaning and polishing is to leave the surfaces of the teeth clean and smooth so that bacteria are unable to stick to them. This will also help give you a better chance of keeping your teeth clean at home.

Chapel Road Dental Surgery Bankstown are committed to cleaning your teeth thoroughly and gently, preventing you from gum disease and leaving you with lovely smooth white teeth. Our dentists will educate you on relevant oral health such as caring for your gums and teeth, dietary habits and health conditions.
